Overload

I've been a bit overwhelmed with emails and everyone's comments - in a good way! I apologise if I haven't replied personally yet, my inbox keeps getting the better of me. I'm keeping up to date with 'work' emails as we need to keep the pennies coming in, yet I don't always feel up to writing friendly emails... kinda think I'll end up depressing everyone or boring them silly with baby talk. I'm getting there though :)

Thank you so, so much to everyone who has sent positive thoughts, we're doing alright. Tom's reduced hours have started and already the pressure is off - just knowing I'm not on my own is a lift in itself. Baby Aran is a happy little soul who's so close to laughing and smiling... I'm sure those moments will be a reward in themselves.

Anyhow, here's some good stuff. I did warn you some time back that this year you might be reading rather a lot about Woolly Wormhead....

This is a new sideways design - Ziggy - now live and available from Knit on the Net. You'll also find a book review and an interview!

I've also had an article published in the latest Yarn Forward, which I'm hoping is a good read. (and not a load of gibberish as I imagine my writing to be ....;)

The Yarn Forward article is definately a good read and I love the look of the new pattern. Looking forward to hearing about Aran's first smiles and chuckles!

I love your new pattern. I'm finally getting around to making one of the hats in Going Straight. It is somewhat foreign to me not to be knitting in the round. I have to concentrate really hard and use lots of markers to keep my place. I think it's going to look good, though. Keep the patterns coming!
Thanks,
Cathy

don't worry about depressing or boring folks, many of us actually don't mind baby talk - it's to be expected, you know?! Luuuurve the hat. I wish I was more of a hat person. I always feel that I look silly, but people tell me I look cute. I'm not convinced ;-)

The hat is absolutely enchanting--far beyond my current knitting skills but something to work toward. I've been behind in reading; thankful that you and your lovely boy are safe!
